Library News Parent Book ClubThe library has purchased eight copies of the book, The Reading Promise: My Father and the Books We Shared, by Alice Ozma. This is a wonderful book about the bond created between a parent and child through a shared love of reading. The nightly reading time between the author and her father lasted an incredible eight years and the book is as much a story about the relationship they forged, as the books they shared. This title would make a wonderful Book Club selection. If a group of parents would like to check the books out for a Book Club, please call or visit the library to make arrangements. ![]() January Library NewsHappy New Year from the Springwoods Library! Book Care Reminder The average cost of a new library bound book is $17.00. It is very important that students follow the rules we discuss regularly regarding keeping books away from food, drink, writing utensils, and young siblings. Wet and damaged books must be paid for so that we can maintain a current and varied selection for everyone to enjoy.
